Awaken Beauty Peeling Treatments
Glycolic Polymer Peel
Our glycolic polymer is made from rhubarb. It is one of the safest peels available, offering an instant and controlled removal of dead skin cell buildup to achieve a smoother, more refined texture. It is effective in treating acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles. The glycol polymer peel also encourages the strengthening and renewal of collagen and elastin fibres.
Enzyme peels digest dead or diseased skin cells without harming living healthy cells. This method of exfoliation does not strip the skin and leaves the skin’s pH level balanced. Our enzyme peels are suitable for all skin types and results are immediately visible. Pores are tighter, more refined. The skin looks smoother, clearer, and more radiant. We choose an enzyme peel to suit your skin condition.
Anti-Ageing Salicylic Acid Peel
The anti-ageing salicylic acid peel provides excellent quick results, giving the skin a firmer, clearer appearance. Improvement is visible immediately and suitable for all skin types. The anti-ageing salicylic acid peel provides noticeable improvement on sun-damaged skin by stimulating fibroblasts, which reduces the depth of lines and wrinkles. For best results we recommend a course of 3 to 5 treatments weekly (the number of visits depends on the depth of lines.)
The Jessner peel is especially ideal for Asian skin. It provides excellent results in skin rejuvenation, decreases actinic damage, hyperpigmentation, acne, comedones, and improves superficial wrinkles. The skin will appear, fresher, cleaner and more radiant. We recommend 3 to 4 layers depending on skin condition.
New Cabernet Peel
The new cabernet peel is a light to medium peel. It is ideal for treating Asian and sensitive skins with mild sun damage and superficial wrinkles, active acne, acne scars, dyschromia, and melanoma. The new cabernet peel freshens the skin and tighten pores without the downtime of chemical peels. (It can be repeated every 2 to 3 months.) We offer two options: a light peel with 2 layers or a deep peel with 4 layers.
TCA is a non-toxic chemical (trichloracetic acid) which is a relative of vinegar (acetic acid.) TCA is applied to the skin, by one or more layers and, causes the top layers of cells to dry up and peel off over a period of several days to one week.
When the old skin is peeled off, it exposes a new layer of undamaged skin, which has a smoother texture and more even colour.
This therapy reduces brown spots and age spots, improves the texture of leathery, sun damaged skin, reduces fine lines, resulting in a smoother radiant skin.
